Ruby Starnes, 93, Russell Springs, KY (1927-2020)

Ruby Starnes of Russell Springs passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown. She was 93 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY. Interment will follow in the Dixon Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT to 8pmCT on Friday, June 26, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home.


She was born April 19, 1927 In Russell County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Starnes; grandchild, Gloria Loy; great grandchild, Ashley Stargel.

Survivors include:

• Her son: Ronnie (Lisa) Loy, Jamestown
• Three grandchildren: April (Jimmy) Branson, Miranda (Ernie) Rogers, and Rhonda (Jeff) Pidella
• Nine great grandchildren: Tyler Baker, McKenzie Foster, Hanna Branson, Peyton Antle, Grace Ann Antle, Riley Rogers, Mariah Johnson, Jayden Padilla, Noah Pidella
• Four great great grandchildren: Austin Mason, Sawyer Padgett, Daislyn Baker, Abby Baker
