CMS Beta Club hosts 'Socktober' community service project

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Middle School Junior Beta Club is hosting a "Socktober" community service project.

The club is partnering with the Sports Reach organization to help Owsley County residents, by collecting socks and shoes for people in need.

CMS Beta Club is collecting new socks in all sizes.

Donations can be placed in collection boxes at the school.

The project will end Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The CMS class that collects the most donations will win a pizza party.

And, those who donate can share pictures via social media with the hashtag cmsbetasocktober for a chance to win a special prize.

For more information, call the CMS office at (270) 465-5121.
