Remembering Ed Waggener: he had a zest for life, for Columbia Todd Wilson writes, "Ed did have a zest not only for life, but a zest for "Columbia" and he would let you know his opinion on any subject. But I think I've known Ed my whole life. And can say the last dozen or so times I talked to him he had a smile he hadn't had before. He was happy, with "Downtown Days", Farmers Market, To The Nines, etc., anything and everything that involved the people of our great little town. I think he knew we are at least heading in the right direction. As long as we stick together and don't forget where we came from and always hold onto those values, even in these times of drastic changes. Rest Easy Ed, you have earned it." -Todd Wilson This story was posted on 2018-10-08 16:04:11
