Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Fri 21 Sept 2018

Indictments brought against 15 individuals from Columbia, Campbellsville, Greensburg, Whitley City, Dunnville, and Shepherdsville, KY and West Blockton, AL, on charges including possession, rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, DUI, wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening, and theft.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Friday, 21 September 2018:

  • Michael Lynn Burton, Robin Dr., West Blockton, AL Indictment No. 18-CR-00210. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Flagrant nonsupport. Bail set at $2,500 cash non-refundable, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Christopher L. Kessler, 6th Ave., Shephersville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00211. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bail set at $1,500 cash/sec prop, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Chasity L. Burton, a/k/a Chasity Lynn Williams, Donna Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00212. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Vickie Ann Jeffries, Greensburg St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00213. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Gary L. Messer, Jr. Morrvue Dr., Cincinnati, OH Indictment No. 18-CR-00214. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Rape, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Sodomy, 3rd degree. Count 3 - Prohibited use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth of Kentucky to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activity. Count 4 - Use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance. Bail set at $200,000 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Arnold E. Walters, Harris Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00215. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Resisting arrest. Arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Dana Rochell Campbell, Country Place Apartments, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00216. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08 aggravating circumstance, 1st offense. Count 4 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Count 5 - No/expired registration plates. Count 6 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Jeffery C. Perez, W. Williamsburg St., Whitley City, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00217. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Terroristic threatening, 2nd degree. Bail set at $5,000 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Breanna L. Taylor, Christine Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00218. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Curtis L. Keith, Greenhills Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00219. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Count 4 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Bail set at $2,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Joshua David Gayde, Cundiff Rd., Dunnville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00220. Charged with 9 counts. Counts 1-4 - Rape, 1st degree. Counts 5-9 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree. Bail set at $200,000 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • William C. Loy, Bird Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00221. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, firearm. Arraignment 9/25/2018.

  • Cory J. Gadberry, Buttercup Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00222. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Bail set at $2,500 cash/sec prop, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Adrianne Nicole Faulkner, Mell Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00223. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Iesha Jones, Hutchison Loy Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00224. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 3rd+ offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment 10/9/2018 at 1pmCT.
