Green Co. woman dead after single car accident By Larry J. Smith General Manager, The Big Dawg, FM 99.9 radio A Green County woman has died as a result of a one vehicle accident Monday. Green County Sheriff Robbie Beard said that 36 year old Shannon Johnson of Highway 88, Greensburg, KY, lost control of her auto on Old Springs Road just south of Greensburg, traveling over an embankment and colliding with a utility pole. Johnson was taken to Jane Todd Hospital with a severe head injury and later transfer to Louisville in critical condition and was placed on life support. Sheriff Beard said that Johnson died today. The fatal mishap occurred Monday at 3:15pmCT, and was investigated by Tim Stump with the Green County Sheriff's Dept. This story was posted on 2018-09-25 16:38:04
