LWC women's cross country finishes 4th at CU Invitational

Campbellsville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished fourth at the Campbellsville Tiger Invitational Saturday at Green River Lake.

The Blue Raiders earned 75 points finishing just three points behind third place Campbellsville (Ky.). Cumberland (Tenn.) won the team title with 28 points and Dalton State (Ga.) finished in second with 55 points.


Elsa Diaz led the Lindsey Wilson harriers with a ninth-place finish with a time of 21 minutes and 56.56 seconds. Meredith Taylor finished in 10th place finishing in 22:02.51, Kayla Roeder finished with a time of 22:48.02 to finish in 16th.

Dezare Jackson and Abbie Chandler finished 20th and 23rd, respectively in the 42-women race. Jackson finished with a time of 23:48.87and Chandler ended in 24:02.55.
