Outrage at 2nd horrific crash in 5 days at 'Bypass & Burkesville' Something has to be done - NOW - heard everyone on scene as helicopter was leaving the scene with driver of one vehicle Story in progress. Photo(s) are being added now By Ed Waggener The second horrific crash at the intersection of the Columbia Veterans Memorial Bypass & Burkesville Street/Burkesville Road, has ignited outrage. "Something has to be done. Immediately." Adair County Judge Executive Mike Stephens said, "Even it it means shutting the road down." His sentiments were echoed by others on the scene.
