Blessed - One word begins a testimony to all from Monica Janes Thanks are given for "all EMS, Rescue, Firefighters, and Officers, to the staff at TJ Sampson, to family and Friends who came to the hospital and prayed. Thank you Lord for watching over all involved." A special thank you is sent to one officer who "got into the vehicle with me because I couldn’t be pulled out of the window, and stayed until I was extracted. I lost my vision for a while going in and out of consciousness. But he held my hand, talked me through it..." Monica's testimony began with her license plate on the front of one of the worst hit cars - it simply said, "Blessed", and then she added her words, shared below, as she began to recover from the horrific accident. Click on headline for complete obituary By Monica Moss Janes, as she began to recover from the August 31, 2018 five-car accident "Today, Numbers 6:24-26 has never been more relevant. Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV) "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee. The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."I praise God for his unending love and mercy!! God’s blessings come in many forms. I can truly say I’m beyond blessed!!! "A huge Thank You to two Louisville Metro officers that arrived first on the scene and helped me. Officers Trever Blakley and AJ Mabry had been at Dale Hollow Lake for dive training. "AJ got into the vehicle with me because I couldn’t be pulled out of the window, and stayed until I was extracted. I lost my vision for a while going in and out of consciousness. But he held my hand, talked me through it. "I was terrified to say the least. Truly Godsend!! He will never know how much I appreciated that. A hero in my book!! Off duty and didn’t think twice, climbed right in!! Much love and appreciation for this man! "Thanks to all EMS, Rescue, Firefighters, and Officers. The staff at TJ Sampson. Family and Friends that came to hospital and prayed for me. "Thank you Lord for watching over all involved. Please keep those in your prayers also. "To come out of it bruised, swollen and with a broken collarbone, I’m extremely Blessed!! Thanks to each and everyone of you, for your calls, texts, kind words and prayers!!!" - Monica Moss Janes, August 31, 2018. This story was posted on 2018-09-03 10:14:10
