Annual football rivalry - CHS football team defeats Taylor County

Campbellsville High School football team defeated Taylor County on Friday, August 31, 2018, in the Bobby Brockman Memorial Big Dawg Bowl.

CHS hosted the annual match up. Final score was 40-20.



Malachi Corley, a junior, was named the Player of the Game.

CHS will travel to Green County on Friday, Sept. 7, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

Dale Estes is the head football coach.

Assistant coaches are Herb Wiseman, Tyler Hardy, Robbie Gribbins, Bronson Gowdy, Aaron Webb, Will Griffin, Anthony Epps, Ries Ewing and DeeJay Moore.

CHS game won, Brockman family honored by Big Dawg

The late Bobby Brockman's family was presented a plaque in his honor and The Big Dawg Bowl was officially renamed the Bobby Brockman Memorial Big Dawg Bowl. CHS players, after their winning game, were presented the Bobby Brockman Memorial Big Dawg Bowl trophy and a $999 check.
