Adair Co. HS FFA Chapter has outstanding year at 2018 State Fair Students in attendance were Maddie Harmon, Lexi Gist, Dana Greer, Devan Burton, Kyron Burton, Holly Absher, Ashley Hadley, Kiley Feese, Elizabeth Stamper, Rebecca Heuser, Tori Kimbler, Elizabeth Rexroat, Matthew Irvin, Hayden Hancock, Ty Cheatham, Walker Karnes, Tyler Bryant, Walter Baker, Casey Wall, Braxton Coomer, Reece Giles, Bohdi Bryant, Hunter Crowe and Jacob Morrison. Several champtionships. Click on headline for complete list, with photo(s) By Matthew Irvin, Chapter Reporter On August the 16 and 17, 2018 the Adair County FFA Chapter traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to the Kentucky State Fair. Members competed and placed in many contests and Career Development Events. The Agricultural Mechanics was awarded the champion chapter which included the tractor restoration, bar stool, picnic table, grill, and a gun rack. The members that competed were Walter Baker, Reece Giles, Braxton Coomer, Bodhi Bryant, Casey Wall and Jacob Morrison. The Floriculture team placed 1st in the state, with Elizabeth Rexroat placing as the top individual in her contest in the state. The members that participated in this contest were Elizabeth Rexroat, Kiley Feese, Ty Cheatham, and Maddie Harmon. The Dairy Judging team placed 3rd in the state. The members who competed were Lexi Gist, Elizabeth Stamper, Walter Baker, and Kyron Burton. The Nursery team placed 5th in the state. The members who competed were Dana Greer, Tori Kimbler, Devan Burton and Ashley Hadley. The Small Engine Equipment team placed 9th in the state. Members who competed in this contest were Reece Giles, Tyler Bryant, Hunter Crowe and Walker Karnes. Bohdi Bryant competed in Auctioneering. Rebecca Heuser competed in Seed Identification.
