Robert Michael 'Mike' Gribbins, Taylor County, KY (1952-2018)

Robert Michael "Mike" Gribbins of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his home after an illness. There will be a funeral service to honor his life Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:30CT/12:30pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. David Mouser will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veteran's Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 23, from 4-7pmCT/5-8pmEt.



Robert Michael 'Mike' Gribbins, 65, Taylor County, KY (1952-2018)

Born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Stanley Shirrell and Rosie Mae (Helm) Gribbins, he was 65 years, 10 months, and 25 days of age.

He was a semi truck driver, having recently retired after 50 years of service. He was a patriot, and served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He loved old cars and motorcycles; his most recent project, and prized possession, was his '74 Duster.

He leaves to mourn his passing
  • His wife Ruby (Cox) Gribbins

  • Two children - Roger Dale Antle and wife Valerie of Smiths Grove, and Stacie Worth and husband Jody of Louisville

  • Two brothers - Greg Gribbins and wife Nona, and Terry Gribbins, all of Campbellsville

  • Two sisters - Lisa Cox and husband Roland, and Patti Gribbins, all of Campbellsville

  • Nine grandchildren

  • And a host of other family and friends
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and David Gribbins.
