Lindsey Wilson College fall semester officially begins By Venus Popplewell The Lindsey Wilson College 2018-2019 school year officially began at 8 a.m., Tuesday morning. That is when the LWC campus community gathered on the campus quadrangle to ring the alumni victory bell to open fall classes. It is estimated more than 600 new freshmen enrolled at LWC for the 2018-19 academic school year and nearly 1,100 will be housed in the campus residence halls. College officials do not yet know the overall enrollment, but it is expected to exceed 2,500. During their first week on campus, new LWC students have been taking part in several activities and team-building events designed to introduce them to college life and the Columbia-Adair County community.
