Betty Joyce Robertson, 82, Russell County, KY (1936-2018) February 19, 1936 ~ August 19, 2018 (Age 82) She was a former Home Health Aide with the Department of Social Services Betty attended Georgetown Baptist Church but was a life long member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church. She was a member of a highly honored South Central Kentucky family. She was born in Wayne County, KY and was a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Theo Givens & Dorothy Canada Branscum. She leaves 15 direct living descendants. Funeral services for Betty Joyce Robertson will be 10amCT Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Russell Springs First Baptist Church, 392 E Highway 80, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jeff Eaton and Bro. Ryan Coffey officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pmCT Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at the church and after 8amCT Thursday at church. Interment will be in the Russell Springs City Cemetery, Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Special music will be by the church choir. Pallbearers will be Bill Sharp, David Sharp, Phillip Sharp, Steve Branscum, Jeff Jones and Joe Branscum. She died Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the age of 82 years, six monthsm and 10 days. She was a former Home Health Aide with the Department of Social Services Betty attended Georgetown Baptist Church but was a life long member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings; Mae Withers, Paul Branscum, Faye Sharp, Fred Branscum, and Ruthie Branscum She considered her three children her greatest accomplishments.
