Zona Mae Bryant Hedrick, 81, former Miss Adair County Fair (1937-2018)

She was a former employee of Lindsey Wilson College, having worked in the dining hall. She was a former Miss Adair County Fair, a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a native of Adair County, KY, and spent her younger years, in the Fairground Street neighborhood of Columbia. She attended public schools in Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of the late Elmer & Ruby Sinclair Bryant. She leaves two direct living descendants.

A memorial visitation for Zona Bryant Hedrick will be 12pm-2pmCT/1pm-3pmET, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville. No Public funeral service will be held.

Zona Mae (Bryant) Hedrick, the daughter of the late Elmer & Ruby Sinclair Bryant, was born Saturday, April 10, 1937 in Columbia, Adair County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, four months and nine.

Survivors include:
  • A daughter - Gina Coker and husband Mark of Campbellsville, KY

  • A grandson - Alex England of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nieces and nephews - Bobby Montgomery and wife Denise; Mike Montgomery, Vickie Maier, Laura Montgomery, Joel Montgomery and Todd Bryant

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Reba Dobson; a brother, William T. Bryant; and a nephew, Jeff Montgomery.
