Lindsey Wilson Volleyball ranked No. 1 in NAIA Preseason Top 25

2018 National Champions were unbeaten in last season.

COLUMBIA, KY – (14 Aug 2018) –The Lindsey Wilson volleyball program is the No. 1 ranked team in the nation according to the 2018 NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, officials announced on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders accrued 371 total voting points and 11 first-place votes to claim the top spot in the preseason. Lindsey Wilson is coming off the program’s first NAIA National Championship in 2017 after posting a perfect 35-0 record en route to the national title.



National runner-up Dordt (Iowa) is second in the poll with 364 points and three first-place votes, followed by Missouri Baptist at No. 3 with 345 points, Viterbo (WI) at No. 4 with 341 points and Park (MO) at No. 5 with 328 points.

Fellow Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY) is No. 17, while Campbellsville (KY) is receiving votes.

Lindsey Wilson opens the 2018 season on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in an away game.
