'Suspicious vehicle' investigation leads to drug use arrest ACSO dispatched last night, Tuesday, August 14. 2018, to New Concord Road to 'suspicious vehicle'; ACSO locates vehicle at intersect of New Concord & Christine Road, and arrest 31-year-old driver, allegedly passed out behind the wheel. He now faces several charges related to illegal drug use. Deputy Josh Durbin is leading the investigation. NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual placed under arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. Click on headline for complete story By ACSO Deputy Brandon Hitch From Adair County Sheriff's Office, Harrison Moss, Sheriff Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at approximately 9:56pmCT, Adair county Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on New Concord Road, Columbia, KY. Deputies located the vehicle at New Concord Road & Christine Road. Deputies located 31-year-old Jesse Abell passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle. In a roadside investigation deputies located a small amount of methamphetamine inside the vehicle and it was determined that Jesse Abell was under the influence. Abell was arrested and charged with Operating a motor vehicle under the influence 1st offense, possession controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.Deputy Josh Durbin is leading the investigation.
