Head-on collision in Taylor County claims two lives

One driver pronounced dead at the scene. Second dies after being transported to Taylor Regional Hospital. Passenger airlifted to UL Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Two people died as the result of a head-on collision west of Campbellsville on KY 210, according to Taylor County Sheriff Allen Newton.

The accident occurred at 6:15pmET, Sunday evening, August 12, 2018, the TCSO reports.



According to the TCSO, 21-year-old Brandon Henry of Campbellsville, KY, was passing another car in a no passing zone and collided head-on with a car driven by 53 year old Mark Isham of London, KY.

Isham was pronounced dead at the scene by Taylor County Coroner Daniel Ford.

Brandon Henry was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville and was later also pronounced dead.

The accident is being investigated by Taylor County Deputy Sheriff Dickie Benningfield.
