He was the patriarch of a respected Metcalfe County, KY, family. He was the son of the late Becil Clemmons and the late Renee Gibson Clemmons and the widower of Artie Wilson Clemmons. He leaves six direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in Metcalfe County, KY

Robert Henry Clemmons, 91, departed this life on Thursday August 2, 2018 at the Metcalfe Health Care Facility.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT Saturday at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens, Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pmCT Friday and after 9amCT Saturday at the funeral home.

Robert Henry Clemmons of Edmonton KY, was born July 11, 1927. He was the son of the late Becil Clemmons & Renee Gibson Clemmons. He died Thursday, August 2, 2018, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 91 years, 22 days.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Imogene Romines, and his wife Artie Wilson Clemmons.

Mr. Clemmons is survived by
  • A son, Danny (Tammy) Clemmons of Scottsville, KY

  • Two brothers, Clyde Clemmons of Indianapolis, IN and Phillip Clemmons of Edmonton, KY

  • Two grandsons, Taylor (Zack) Duke and Nathaniel Bunch

  • Three great grandchildren Braxton, Eli and Beau
