By Sybille Tuuha

I just read the phenomenal story of the old ash tree with the wild cherry tree growing from it. How beautiful!!!

Wrote a quick poem this AM . . . might put to music at a later date.

FROM THE ASH
By Sybille Tuuha
I sat down to talk to my sweetheart
On a beautiful June afternoon
I've brought flowers from your own garden
I'm tending it just like you asked me to
There's a new baby girl in the family
Her smile reminds me of you
There was a storm the other day
And I'm sorry to say, the old Ash that you loved broke in two
It hurts that it no longer shades you
But I have something good to tell you
In the heart of the Ash
A wild cherry tree blooms
Just amazing what nature can do
You used to say life is fleeting
All things must come to an end
But in time and the good Lord be willing
Somehow, somewhere, sometime
Life begins again
The old Ash though weak through the ages
Found strength to help life renew
It sleeps now in peace and in silence
In this place of grace here with you
😊 Hope to see you in the fall!

Mellow out - with a little 'Bille' therapy
