She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over 20 years. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother and always liked to joke with her family. She was born in Adair County, KY and was a resident of Taylor County, KY, at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky family, the daughter of the late Basil Bault & Bertie Hovious Bault and the widow of William "Bill" Bault. She leave 39 direct living descendants.

Mary Evelyn Lee, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 1:30amET, Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service for Mary Evelyn Lee will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. Mark Price. Burial will be in Poplar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6amCT/7amET, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Mary Evelyn Bault Lee, 79, Taylor Co., KY/Adair Co. native (1939-2018)

Mary Evelyn Lee was the daughter of the late Basil Bault & Bertie Hovious Bault. She was born March 19, 1939 in Adair County, KY. She died Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 79 years, four months, and two days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over twenty years. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother and always liked to joke with her family.

She united in marriage to William "Bill" Lee September 3, 1955. He preceded her in death April 8, 2007.

She is survived by:
  • Four daughters and three sons: Lori Feather and husband, Gary; Michelle Hunt and husband, Greg; Tammy Bennett, Kevin Lee and wife, Connie; and Mike Lee and wife, Donna, all of Campbellsville, KY; Patsy Kenner of Frankfort, KY; and Jim Bob Lee and wife, Juanita of Inglis, FL

  • Nineteen grandchildren

  • Twenty three great-grandchildren

  • One sister and two brothers: Betty Willis and William Bault of Campbellsville, KY; and Leonard Bault of Cane Valley, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by five sister and two brothers: Maxine Stonecipher, Lonita Hancock, Annelle Cox, Doris Combs, Judy Estes, Leon Bault and Gordon Bault.
