Campbellsville High School has hired its first archery coach.

Chris Kidwell, who serves as associate superintendent and finance director at Campbellsville Independent Schools, will lead the archery team.



The team, which is now part of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association, is open to all Campbellsville middle and high school students.

Kidwell said about 10 students have expressed interest in competing on the team, with more expected to join after the school year begins.

The archery team will begin its season this winter.
