Adair FFA Chapter attends KY Leadership Training Adair County Members excel. Kyron Burton was selected as camp council secretary. Holly Absher placed 2nd in the FFA Quiz Contest. Myha Stricker and Kryon Burton received the leadership award. Matthew Irvin received outstanding leadership award. By Matthew Irvin, Adair County FFA Reporter During the week of July 9-13, 2018 Adair County FFA Chapter attended Kentucky Leadership Training center in Hardinsburg, KY for a week of FFA Camp. Members attended officer and committee chair training classes, participated in athletic and swimming events, and took part in many other activities to improve leadership skills. Our officer team conducted the first night session in front of 21 other chapters in attendance. Kyron Burton was selected as camp council secretary. Holly Absher placed 2nd in the FFA Quiz competition, which allows her to compete at the Kentucky State Fair. Alexis Gaskins participated in the talent contest. Myha Stricker and Kryon Burton received the leadership award. Matthew Irvin received the outstanding leadership award. Devan Burton was a part of the orange team and won an athletic award. Rebecca Heuser recited the FFA creed in front of 22 chapters. Members were able to meet and interact with state officers and complete a ropes course challenge to improve teamwork among our chapters members. Students in attendance were: Hayden Hancock, Hudson Hancock, Kyron Burton, Matthew Irvin, Tori Kimbler, Ashley Hadley, Devan Burton, Alexis Gaskins, John Gaskins, Kiley Feese, Ty Cheatham, Holly Absher, Rebecca Heuser and Myha Stricker.
