'Suspicious' Sunday afternoon caller at Liberty Rd. home arrested

Adair County Sheriff's Office investigation of report of suspicious male knocking on door results in allegations of DUI and meth possession, outstanding Russell County, KY warrants.
Note - A charge is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a subsequent court of law.

Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on July 15, 2018 at approximately 3:49amCT Adair County Deputy Josh Durbin was dispatched to a complaint of suspicious male knocking on a door at a residence on Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.



Deputy Durbin located 35 year old Byron Marcum who was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication controlled substance (Excludes Alcohol), and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Marcum was also arrested for three warrants out of Russell County.
