GUY BABIN, Thinks 'n Tags: Tick problem in Gradyville, KY At mature age, prudent homo sapiens keep a running inventory of body parts, updated daily. Ticks mimicry makes them easy to be counted as skin tags, and vice versa. Therein lies a problem for prudent homo sapien Guy Babin, ever diligent in Gradyville, Paradise, USA, who addresses a problem with ticks many of can empathize with . Click on headline for some humor in dealing with the 'sneaky blood-sucking interlopers' in who, have late have tipped the age old conflict a bit in their favor By Guy Babin News from Gradyville, Paradise, USA A Gradyville friend of ours was recently diagnosed with a bacterial infection caused by Ixodes Scapularis, aka... a tick. Ticks are a fact of life out here in Paradise USA as they find the ecology and climate perfectly matched to their needs--just as we local homosapiens. The prudent and fully indoctrinated umoung us include a daily and thorough inventory of all body parts in search for the sneaky blood-sucking interlopers. The delima however; at my advanced age, is how to discern a tick, from a skin tag.... A decade ago I had a pretty good handle on how many skin tags were in my inventory; none, so it was merely a process of elimination. Today, at 63, it's not so easy.... It seems that ageing coupled with living in the country fosters the accumulation of both tags and ticks. A tag or tick in plain sight is not the issue, but the ones only discovered by feel tucked away in our blind spots the trouble. We need to rename Ixodes Scapularis to Sneakious Tagious. Get better soon my friend. Remember, if you don't make a tag bleed once in a while, you're not being thorough enough!
