Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 10 JUL 2018

Indictments brought against 18 individuals from Mannsville, Greensburg, Columbia, Brandenburg, Bimble, and Campbellsville, KY, on charges including possession, DUI, escape, trafficking, assault, robbery, theft, rape, and engaging in organized crime.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 10 July 2018:


  • Roger L. Cox, Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00155. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Randy Garrett, Ravine Way, Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00156. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Operate motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc. .08 4th+ offense. Count 2 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 3 - Failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no driving, no alcohol.

  • Jerry L. Jordan, Ellis Ln., Bimble, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00157. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Escape, 2nd degree, Identify facility. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law.

  • William K. Thompson, Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00158. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, all others, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Justin C. Downs, Boca Noir Circle, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00159. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd+ offense, 2g+ heroin. Count 2 - Trafficking in synthetic drugs, 2nd or subsequent offense. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $5,000 cash.

  • Adam C. Powell, Christan Church Rd., Mannsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00160. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1-2 - Assault, 3rd degree, police probation officer. Count 3 - Resisting arrest. Count 4 - Menacing. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $20,000 cash.

  • Rodney Jeffries, Cheryl Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00161-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Engaging in organized crime. Count 2 - Receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.Bond set at $15,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Julita R. Jeffries, Cheryl Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00161-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Engaging in organized crime. Count 2 - Receiving stolen property $10,000 or more. Bond set at $15,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Joscelyn C. Milby, Graham Cemetery Rd., Summersiville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00161. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, MCR testing 2 times per month.

  • Abbie Anderson, Ashley Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00163-001. Charged with 3 counts. Counts 1-3 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000/USB, no contact with victim.

  • Arthur Garrett, Pitman Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00163-002. Charged with 3 counts. Counts 1-2 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no contact victim.

  • Maranda Bandy, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00163-003. Charged with 2 counts. Counts 1-2 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bond set at $10,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Gary W. Calhoun, Cotton Chaudoin Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00164-001. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,500 cash.

  • Maranda J. Bandy, S. Central Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00164-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,500 cash.

  • James D. Griffith, Half Acre Circle, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00165. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, cocaine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Speeding 6MPH over (limited access). Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs/alcohol, MCR reporting and testing 2 times per month.

  • Nicholas Handy, Boca Noir, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00166. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Traffickin in controlled substances, 1st degree, 1st offense, 2g-100g heroin. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Michael H. Adams, Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00167. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Robbery, 1st degree. Count 2 - Attempted Rape, 1st degree. Count 3 - Asault, 1st degree. Bond set at $30,000 cash, no contact with victims/premises.

  • Angela D. Carter, Old Mill Rd., Brandenburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00168. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
