Phillip Wooldridge, 66, Russell County, KY (1952-2018)

He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Londo "Short" & Enola Wooldridge. His wife, Diana Wooldridge, survives. He was the beloved patriarch of a large eastern Russell County family. He leaves 22 direct living descendants. He enjoyed spending time with his boxers, Mojo, Penny, Gracie and Molly. His final resting place will be in McBeath Cemetery in his native Russell County, KY

Phillip Wooldridge, 66, Russell Springs, KY, passed away, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11amCT, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Eli Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the McBeath Cemetery, Old Eli Road, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-9pmCT, Friday, July 13, 2018, at the funeral home.

He was born on Friday, February 08, 1952 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Enola Wooldridge, and the late Londo "Short" Wooldridge. He died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the age of 66 years, five months, and 4 days.

He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by
  • His wife: Diana Wooldridge, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four daughters; Jeannie, wife of Donald) Plumm, Elizabethtown, IN; Bonnie, wife of Ricky Warriner, Jamestown, KY; Deanna, wife of Leon Popplewell, Russell Springs, KY; and Beverly, wife of Joe Smith, Stanford, KY

  • Two brothers: Paul Wooldridge, and Clyde, husband of Mavis Wooldridge, both Russell Springs, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Nine great-grandchildren

  • and a host of nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Keil Wooldridge; and sister Evelyn Fay Sneed.
