Biggest, best produce FM2 today, Sat 30 Jun 2018

2018-06-30 - FM2 at Municipal Parking Lot, Campbellsville & Merchant Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
At 6:41amCT Sat 30 Jun 2018, many of the stalls at Farmers Market on the Square were completing preparations for the official opening 8am-1pmCT, interrupted by a few early birds who couldn't wait. The weather is gorgeous, but promises to get wickedly hot later today. Just a word to the wise that although supplies are bountiful, it's a good idea to get to the market before 1) They're out of those heirloom tomatoes, or 2) The heat gets them -- or you. Our first trip was a success. Got the two prettiest Big Boy tomatoes on the lot. Can't wait to taste them. There may not be time to post all the vendors inventories, but we're pedaling as fast as we can. Watch for more FM2 today to come! - EW
