Charlie Sullivan, 81, Russell County, KY/Leslie Co., KY native (1936-2018)

He was a heavy equipment salesman and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a native of Leslie County, KY, a former resident of Russell County, KY; and a resident of Barren County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Chester & Hettie Gross Sullivan. His wife, Marietta "Rita" Sullivan, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Charlie Sullivan, 81, of Cave City, KY, formerly of the Jabez community of Russell County, KY, died Tuesday June 5, 2018 at his home.

Funeral service for Charlie Sullivan will be 1pmCT, Thursday June 7, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carroll Egnew officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, June 6, 2018, and after 8amCT, Thursday. Interment in the Jennie's Chapel Cemetery.

He was born November 10, 1936 in Leslie County, KY. He was the son of the late Chester & Hettie Gross Sullivan. He died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Cave City, KY, at the age of 81 years, six months, and 10 days.

He was a heavy equipment salesman and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by a brother, Chester Sullivan, Jr. and a sister, Evelyn Brock.

Survivors:
  • Wife: Marietta "Rita" Sullivan, Cave City, KY

  • Son: Charlie "Chuck" Carl Sullivan, Ruby, SC

  • Granddaughter: Mariah Shelbi Sullivan, Glasgow, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Amaya Franklin, and Kiran Franklin
