Statewide total for fatalities is down Click on headline for complete report By Tpr Nick Hale, Public Information Officer KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - (Mon 4 June 2018) During the month of May 2018, there were 15 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There was one fatal collision during the month of May in the Post 15 area:
Statewide fatality count stands at 260 compared with 294 through this same period in 2017. During the month of May 2018, there were 1297 citations written, 262 courtesy notices written, 1455 vehicles inspected, 726 complaints answered, 62 motorists assisted, 66 criminal cases opened and 250 criminal arrests made.
