Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director COLUMBIA, KY - (28 May 2018) - Jonathan Burton has resigned as Lindsey Wilson's baseball coach. A national search is underway to find his successor. Burton departs Lindsey Wilson to become the head coach at Reinhardt (GA) in Waleska, GA. "We wish Coach Burton the best and thank him for the past seven years leading our program," Lindsey Wilson athletics director Willis Pooler said. "The goal is to hire a coach that will continue the on-field success our program has had while focusing on the overall student-athlete experience and our mission." Burton posted a 248-161 record in seven seasons at the helm of the LWC baseball program. He guided the Blue Raiders to a pair of Mid-South Conference regular-season titles and two MSC Tournament crowns. Burton led the Blue Raiders to the 2015 and 2016 NAIA World Series.
