After winning the long jump national title yesterday, Mosheleketi out-jumped the field in today's triple jump. The national title is Mosheleketi's third of his career. He also won the outdoor track & field triple jump title last season to go along with his two titles this season.

Mosheleketi provided the longest jump of the event on his final jump. He was the lone man to eclipse 15 meters. He posted a winning distance of 15.57 meters (51 feet and one inch). Despite the distance, Mosheleketi did not even need his final jump. He took over the lead with his fifth jump of 14.99 meters and never trailed again.

Mosheleketi posted 20 points towards the team total with his two national championships. He was named the national championships' most valuable performer becoming the first Blue Raider to earn the distinction.

Anthony Thompson finished fifth in the triple jump to earn three points for the Blue Raiders. He jumped 14.71 meters (48-3 1/4 feet) on his third jump.

Kevin Hallmon competed in a pair of finals on Saturday -- the 100 and 200-meter dashes.

Hallmon crossed the finish line in sixth place with a time of 10.64 seconds in the highly-competitive 100. Four-tenths of a second separated first and eighth place in the eight-man finals. Wiley's (Texas) Oraine Palmer won the event with a time of 10.35 seconds.

In the 200, Hallmon finished fifth -- less than a second behind the winner. He recorded a time of 21.28 seconds compared to Palmer's -- who also won the 200 -- 20.77 seconds.

Hallmon tallied seven points for the Blue Raiders in the two races.

The Lindsey Wilson 4x100 relay team also earned points on Saturday.

The Blue Raider quartet of Hallmon, Christian Davis, Holt Keeling, and Jaylyn McMurry posted a time of 41.38 seconds. Wiley won the race in 40.17 seconds. Lindsey Wilson earned three points for its finish.

Lindsey Wilson completed the championships with 33 points. In addition to today's 23 points, the Blue Raiders scored 10 points on Friday with Mosheleketi's win in the long jump.

Wiley captured the team title with 92 points. Indiana Tech finished second with 62 points followed by British Columbia with 51 points, Hastings (Nebraska) with 38 points and Wayland Baptist's (Texas) 34 points.
