Multi-county pursuit ends in the arrest of a Crestwood man Fleeing motorcycle alleged to have reached speeds of 130 miles per on chase beginning in Bullitt County, continuing into Jefferson County before suspect apprehended and arrested. He faces multiple charges. NOTE: Arrests and charges are not findings of guilt. An individual charged in an arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Tpr. Scotty R. Sharp, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (Thu 24 May 2018) - Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 04 arrested a Crestwood man Thursday morning, following a two-county vehicle pursuit on May 24, 2018. At approximately 10:46amET, while on routine patrol, KSP Post 04 Troopers observed a motorcycle speeding northbound on I-65 near the 110 mile marker in Bullitt County. As Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, the operator began to flee reaching speeds in excess of 130mph. The pursuit having begun in Bullitt County continued into Jefferson County before ending in the northbound lanes at the 129 mile marker on I-65. The operator, Israel L. Sostre, Jr. (36) of Crestwood KY, was arrested and charged by KSP Post 04 Troopers with the following offenses resulting from the pursuit, including two active arrest warrants out of Oldham County.
