She was a member of a large, respected Adair County, KY, family, the daughter of the late John Edwin and Eva Lee Janes Sneed. her husband, Charles Murphy, survives. She leaves 11 direct and one step living descendants. She was the daughter of the late John Edwin and Eva Lee Janes Sneed of Adair County, KY. She died Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 79 years, one month, and 12 days.
