LWC Women's Basketball adds Glasgow HS' Kaylyn Hale

COLUMBIA, KY – (3 May 2018) The Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball program has added Kaylyn Hale for the upcoming 2018-19 season, head coach John B. Wethington announced on Thursday.

Hale has played on five teams that won 20 or more games during her high school career and helped those teams to a pair of district titles and a trio of district runner-up performances. Twice her teams have won the Region 4 Class A Championship along with the Class A State Championship during the 2014 season. ”



"Kaylyn is a great addition to not only our basketball team but also our campus," Wethington said. "She comes from a great program at Glasgow that has helped prepare her for the next level."

“She is a great leader on the floor and can really shoot the basketball. Kaylyn is also a great student and she really embodies what a student-athlete is. We are excited to get her on campus in the fall.

Hale is a 5-foot-5 guard that comes to the Blue Raiders from Glasgow High School in Glasgow, Kentucky where she averaged 8.3 points per game and led the team in made three-pointers with 168. Hale was named an all-district selection for the 2018 season and was named to the District 15 All-Tournament Team in 2017 and 2018, earning Region 4 All-Tournament Team honors in 2018. She also earned a spot on the Region 4 All-Academic Team in 2018.
