Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 01 May 2018

Indictments brought against 18 Individuals from Detroit, MI, Fayetteville, NC, and Campbellsville, Greensburg, Lebanon, Louisville, Summersville, and Buffalo, KY, on charges including theft, burglary, trafficking, rape, incest, forgery, possession, robbery, and public intoxication.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 01 May 2018:


  • Martell P. Briscoe, Thatcher St., Detroit MI Indictment No. 18-CR-00096-001. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st offense, heroin while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense, <10DU scheduled 1&2 non-narcotics, while in possession of a firearm. Count 3 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 4 - Traffic in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense, while in possession of a firearm. Count 5 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree on foot. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $50,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Angelo M. Brooks, Buick St., Detroit, MI Indictment No. 18-CR-00096-002. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st offense, heroin while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense, <10DU scheduled 1&2 non-narcotics, while in possession of a firearm. Count 3 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 4 - Traffic in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense, while in possession of a firearm. Count 5 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree on foot. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $50,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Robert T. Simpson, Greygoose, Fayetville, NC Indictment No. 18-CR-000096-003. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st offense, heroin while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense, <10DU scheduled 1&2 non-narcotics, while in possession of a firearm. Count 3 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 4 - Traffic in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense, while in possession of a firearm. Count 5 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree on foot. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $50,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Dennis Arnold Lyons, Rogge, Detroit, MI Indictment No. 18-CR-000096-004. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st offense, heroin while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense, <10DU scheduled 1&2 non-narcotics, while in possession of a firearm. Count 3 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 4 - Traffic in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense, while in possession of a firearm. Count 5 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree on foot. Count 7 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $50,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Dennis Arnold Lyons, Rogge, Detroit, MI Indictment No. 18-CR-00097. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Nicole Keltner, Rosecrest Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00098. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Theft of motor vehicle registration plate/renewal decal. Count 2 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st offense. Count 3 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Count 4 - No/expired registration plates. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Frankie R. Brown, Taylor's Chapel Rd., Summersville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00099. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense 4g+ cocaine. Count 2 - Trafficking in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Abbie Anderson, High Pine, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00100. Charged with 10 counts. Counts 1-10 - Criminal possession of forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Nathaniel R. Jones, Burress Hollow Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00101. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Rape, 1st degree, victim <12 years of age. Count 2 - Incest, victim under 12 years of age or serious physical injury. Bond set at $250,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Kenny Cochran, Creason Ln., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00102. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Robbery, 2nd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition all others under $500. Count 3 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st offense. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • John Chappell, Earthborne Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00103. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by failure to mkae required disposition of property. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Jessica M. Heady, Howard St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00104. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, 2g+ methamphetamine. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition shoplifting under $500. Bond set at $2,500 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Christy D. Saylor, Radion Station Rd., Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00105. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Christy D. Saylor, Radion Station Rd., Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00106. Charged with 4 counts. Counts 1-3 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender. Same bond as 18-CR-00105.

  • Crystal G. Stines, Highway 218, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00107. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Robbery, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Anthony S. Reid, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00108. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, auto, over $500 but under $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Kevin D. Hall, Liberty Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00109. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Kevin D. Hall, Liberty Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00110-001. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine, while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Same bond as in 18-CR-00109.

  • Steven W. McBride, W. Market St., Louisville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00110-002. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine, while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Possession of defaced firearm. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Anthony S. Nelson, William Hash Rd., Buffalo, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00110-003. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine, while in possession of a firearm. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Possession of defaced firearm. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no firearms.

  • Jacob D. Thompson, Filray Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00111. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 5 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
