COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 1 May 2018) During the month of April 2018, there were 9 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.

There were three fatal collisions during the month of April in the Post 15 area:


  • Tisha N. Allen, 25 years old, was killed on 04/07/18 in Metcalfe Co KY

  • Dale R. Conner, 55 years old of Green Co KY was killed on 04/24/18 in Green Co KY

  • Breonn A. Groce, 16 years old of Clinton Co KY was killed on 04/25/18 in Clinton Co KY
This brings our yearly fatality count to 10 compared with 3 through this same period in 2017.

Statewide fatality count stands at 193 compared with 230 through this same period in 2017.

During the month of April 2018, there were 938 citations written, 241 courtesy notices written, 1164 vehicles inspected, 652 complaints answered, 49 motorists assisted, 44 criminal cases opened and 273 criminal arrests made.
