Nick Hale, Public Affairs Officer KSP Post 15. 1118 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 1 May 2018) During the month of April 2018, there were 9 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of April in the Post 15 area:
Statewide fatality count stands at 193 compared with 230 through this same period in 2017. During the month of April 2018, there were 938 citations written, 241 courtesy notices written, 1164 vehicles inspected, 652 complaints answered, 49 motorists assisted, 44 criminal cases opened and 273 criminal arrests made.
