Parent nominations being accepted for SBDM at ACMS From Alma Rich, principal, Adair County Middle School The ACMS Parent/Teacher Organization is now accepting Parent Nominations for SBDM for the 2018-19 School Year. As you are probably aware most schools have a Site Based Decision Making Council that consists of members of the school community. The role of the council is to help in making decision in many aspects of the school. The SBDM council is made up of two parents, three teachers, and a principal. Each year the council elects new members for both teacher and parent members. We are asking for your help in nominating parents to serve a one year term on the ACMS SBDM Council. Parents who serve must have a child attending Adair County Middle School during the 2018-19 school year. The election will be conducted by the PTO. Nominations can be mailed, faxed, or left at ACMS any time between Monday, April 30, 2018 through Friday, May 4, 2018, at 3:00 pm with Ms. Shea Wiley. Two parents are elected each year to serve a one year term. The election will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 7amCT until 3pmCT at the school. Any parent wishing to serve on SBDM must have a child enrolled/attending ACMS during the 2018-19 school year. For more information, please contact the school. --Adair County Middle School PTO Ellen Rich, President This story was posted on 2018-04-29 22:40:59
