The family requests visitation 5pm-9pmCT, on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Evelyn Thomas Orton, 82, Cumberland Co., KY (1935-2018) She was born in Cumberland County, KY on May 26, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Robert Bazil and Nannie Belle Davis Thomas. She died Monday, April 16, 2018, in Albany, Clinton County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 21 days. She was a member of Irish Bottom Christian Church. A resident of the Irish Bottom community of Cumberland County, Evelyn was an avid gardener and enjoyed caring for those she loved. In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her brothers, James Thomas, John Thomas, Bobby Thomas, Billy Joe Thomas; her sisters, Geneva Ruff, Bonnie Melton, and Ava Appleby; and one great-grandchild Khaleesi Orton.
