Adair County PRIDE cleanup is 28 Apr 2018 The cleanup is presented as a joint effort between the Adair County Fiscal Court, Lindsey Wilson College, and the City of Columbia. Click on headline for complete story From Adair Deputy CJE Andrea Waggener The entire Adair County community is invited to come out Saturday, April 28, 2018, for the PRIDE Spring Cleanup. Registration is scheduled 9am-10amCT in the rear parking lot at the Adair Courthouse Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. and the cleanup will be 10am-2pmCT, or until your group is done. Donuts, fresh fruit, milk, orange juice, and water will be served during registration. Students in BETA and National Honor Society at Adair County High School will be on hand to paint faces for participating children. Door prizes donated by local businesses will be given away to volunteers. Volunteers may contact the Judge Executive Michael Lee Stephen's office 8am-4pm, Mondays through Fridays, to register and identify their proposed cleanup area in the county. Interested parties can also identify their cleanup area and pick up supplies (gloves, bags, safety vests, insect repellant wipes, and sunscreen) upon registration. When volunteers have finished cleaning up their area each team's leader will return to the Annex to report the number of bags picked up. The fiscal court will pay for the disposal of all bags at the Adair County Transfer Station.
