Raiderview to Host Discussion on free speech in the media.

From Raiderview

Raiderview, the student-run newspaper of Lindsey Wilson College, is sponsoring the first segment of the "Front and Central" discussion series. The open discussion will take place at 2pmCT, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in the Hodge Center, 402 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY, on the LWC campus, involving local journalists and professors in politics and journalism from LWC.

According to Cody Maggard, Raiderview Editor, the purpose of the discussion is to talk about the current climate regarding the view of media in the "fake news" era of journalism. The ultimate goal of the event is to shed light on the role of journalism in the changing world of media coverage. The event is free to attend, and will include a question and answer section from the audience. The public is encouraged to attend.
