Emma Grider stars in BAFA's Once Upon a Mattress Cast includes many members from Burkesville, Columbia, Jamestown, and Russell Springs, KY Click on headline for article with complete cast, staff and \ photo(s) Emma Grider, of Columbia, KY, stars as Princess Winnifred, a plucky princess who's not too sure if it was worth swimming the moat to find her prince, in BAFA’s (Burkesville Academy of Fine Arts) production of Once upon a Mattress. BAFA's production of Once Upon a Mattress will be performed at 7pmCT Fri & Sat, 27 & 28 Apr 2018, and at 2pmCT Sun 29 Apr 2018, at Living Word Ministries, 173 Living Word Drive, Burkesville, KY. The cast of Once Upon a Mattress includes: Timothy Archey, Stephanie Archey, Arabella Caldwell, Maya Caldwell, Emma Grider, Ryan Odd, Baylie Somerv ille, Liberty Topping, Michaela Topping, and Lori Topping, all of Columbia; KY; Sam Anderson, Bradley Anderson, Lily Jordan, Paris Newell, Xander Newell, and Olivia Sells, of Burkesville, KY; Abby Richards of Russell Springs; Wade, Renee', Drake, Kate, and Izabella Daffron of Jamestown, KY. Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that, in fact, it wasn't the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. - Renee Daffron This story was posted on 2018-04-16 11:31:52
