Green County Grand Jury returns indictments Wed 28 Mar 2018

Indictments brought against 8 individuals from Greensburg, Lebanon, and Campbellsville, KY, on charges including burglary, theft, welfare fraud, sexual misconduct, and promoting a sexual performance by a minor.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 28 March 2018:


  • Tyler Dean Burton, Locust Grove Rd., Greesburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00017. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Promoting a sexual performance by a minor under age 18. Count 2 - Unlawful transaction with minor 1st, illegal sex act under 18 years of age. Count 3 - Distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by minor, 1st degree. Counts 4-5 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Harassing communications. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Isaiah Campbell, Daugherty Ave., Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00019. Charged with 7 counts. Counts 1-4 - Unlawful transaction with minor 2nd degree. Count 5 - Carrying a concealed weapon. Count 6 - Trafic in marijuana, less than 8oz, 1st offense. Couint 7 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Summons for the defendant to appear 5-2-2018, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Thor Polley, W. Columbia Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00015. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Anthony W. Anderson, Ashely Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00018. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Melissa Brown, C. Garrison Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00016. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Welfare fraud, commencement of proceeding for enforcement. Count 2 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Chase Compton, Valley Dr., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-M-00059. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Sexual misconduct. Summons of defendant to appear, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Brianna Crew, Old Dry Ridge Rd., Liberty, KY Indictment No. 18-M-00060. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Unlawful transaction with minor, 3rd degree. Summons for defendant to appear, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Asher Shepherd, Valley Dr., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-M-00061. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Sexual misconduct. Summons for defendant to appear, no contact with complaining witness.
