Chris Oliver: Appreciation for Adair County teachers By Chris Oliver Personal commentary While I am NOT upset in any way that some of our educators in districts across the state are choosing to exercise their right not to work today, I would also like to thank all of those who are there today (and every other day) educating our young people. While our children/students may not fully understand the debate over these issues, showing up and working on a day when you may may not feel like doing so is a great example for them. That lesson alone may be one of most valuable taught. Thank you! --Chris Oliver This story was posted on 2018-03-30 07:20:03
