Shooting incident on Church Street updated by Larry Smith

Victim, not yet named, is in hospital at this time. No charges have been filed. Victim allegedly came to Columbia home, threatened occupant, who, in turn fired first. Next earlier report, with pictures, Church Street is now open - 2:26pmCT, Wed 28 Mar 2018 by Ed Waggener.

(Wed 28 Mar 2018 at 2:56pmCT) - The Big Dawg has learned that a man, possibly from Lebanon, KY, was flown to UL Medical Center, Louisville, KY, after being shot through the neck today, Wednesday, March 27, 2018, in an incident on Church Street, Columbia, KY.

The name of the victim has not be released.

However, according to the information received, the victim was shot after he allegedly threatened Michael "Big Ed" Dial, Columbia, KY at Dial's home.

No charges had been filed.
