Jimmy D. Loy, 69, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Saturday March 24, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral Services for Jimmy D. Loy will be at the Fairview Separate Baptist Church, Hwy 55, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT, Thursday, March 29, 2018 with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Willard Bryant officiating. Friends may visit on after 4pmCT, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the church after 8amCT, on Thursday. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon Cemetery Road, Jamestown, KY.

Jimmy was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on April 8, 1948. He was a son of the late Ruth Warriner Loy and Vivan Loy. He died Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

He was a cattle dealer.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Carel (Buis) Loy, of Jamestown, KY

  • His son: Darrell (Lori) Loy, of Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Autic (Irene) Loy and Arvis (Rosalie) Loy both of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sisters: Jeanette (Jimmy) Bolin, of Jamestown, KY, and Helen Grant, of Dunnville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Alexa, Addison, Abby and Owen Loy

  • A host of nieces and nephews

The family requests memorial donations to the Fairview Separate Baptist Church and can be made at the church.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
