Malcolm Willis, 84, Marrowbone, KY (1934-2018)

He was a longtime heavy equipment operator and was a member of Waterview Church of Christ. He was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was of a highly regarded family, the son of the late Henry Lloyd Willis and Maymie White Willis. He was the widower of Margie Anderson Willis. He leaves 13 direct living descendants.

Malcolm Willis, age 84 of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Raymond Castillo and Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial is in Marrowbone Cemetery. The family requested visitation 5pm-9pmCT, Monday, March 26, 2018, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home

Malcolm Willis, 84, Marrowbone, KY (1934-2018)

Malcolm was born on January 08, 1934 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Henry Loyd Willis and Maymie White Willis. He died Sunday, March 25, 2018, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 84 years, two months, and 17 days.

He was a longtime heavy equipment operator and was a member of Waterview Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margie Anderson Willis and two brothers, Jimmy Willis and Donald Willis.

Survivors include:
  • Four daughters: Tesia Willis and Sandi Willis both of Marrowbone, KY, Lynn Groce and her husband Lynord of Smith Grove, KY, and Peggi Willis and her friend Dale Keller of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Three Brothers- Roger Willis(and Rita), Jerry Willis(and Glenda), and Larry Willis(and Bonnie) all of Burkesville, KY

  • Six sisters: Margie Firkins of Edmonton, KY, Carol Garmon of Marrowbone, KY, Donita Rich(and Delton) of Smith Grove, KY, Gaye Stailey(and Bennie) of Burkesville, KY, Kathy Scott of Burkesville, KY and Barbara Smith(and friend James Pierce) of Beaumont, KY

  • Three grandchildren:Tiffany Secula(and Nick), Zane Cyphers(and Samantha), Nicole Cyphers

  • Six great grandchildren: Timothy, Levi, Faith, Haley, Jarrod, Joey

  • Brothers-in-law: Paul and Ronnie Anderson of Burkesville, KY

  • Malcolm's special dog Tater Bug

  • Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
