LWC Singers Tour home concert is Thursday evening Singers are back from tour in six midwest states, which include Dr. Chafin's 600th performance with Lindsey Wilson College Click on headline for complete story A tradition for our community is the Lindsey Wilson College Singers Tour Home Concert. The concert is Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY at 7pmCT. According to conductor, Dr. Gerald L. Chafin, "This annual spring event brings the campus and the community together to hear the music performed from our travels." Last week the Singers gave concerts in six mid-west states. Highlights from the trip include a performance at the Cooper Chapel in Arkansas, Dr. Chafin's 600th performance with Lindsey Wilson College, and a performance at the Oklahoma City National Memorial's Survivor Tree. The Cooper Chapel was designed by E. Fay Jones, the designer of the Lindsey Wilson College John B. Begley Chapel. The LWC Singers Tour Home Concert is free and open to the public.
