Remembering Council Member's fathers, Hoots and Lasley By Linda Waggener Two Columbia City Council Members have lost fathers since the last meeting and my thoughts were with both during the session last evening. Had it been a regular one instead of a special called meeting (rescheduled around the regional tournament) there'd have been the usual individual comment times for community members, mayor and council. Since it was a called meeting with no comment sections on the agenda, I'm sharing mine here. This note is to recognize and offer sincere sympathies to: - Council Member Craig Lasley at the loss of his dad, J.C. Lasley, March 9, 2018; and - Council Member Pamela Hoots at the loss of her dad, Gene Hoots, February 26, 2018. This story was posted on 2018-03-13 09:32:12
