Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 27 Feb 2018

Indictments brought against 15 individuals from Columbia, Breeding, Williamsburg, Russell Springs, Campbellsville, and Louisville, KY, on charges including possession, abuse, forgery, trafficking, bail jumping, wanton endangerment, assault and DUI.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 27 February 2018:

  • Jennifer D. Rogers, Green Hills Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00080. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal abuse, 1st degree. Bail set at $10,000 cash, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Shane Allen Bottoms, Caldwell Ridge Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00081. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Bail jumping, 1st degree. No bond, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Mark Lee Aaron, Baker St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00082. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by deception, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail set at $500 cash, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Benjamin Lewis Harmon, Allen Schoolhouse Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00083. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree, domesitc violence, 3rd+ offense within 5 years. Arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Dylan L. Burton, 1394 Flat Rock Rd., Breeding, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00084. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Carl Harrison, Jr., Creekview Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00085. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $2,500 cash/sec prop, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Jonathan Lee Siler, Junior Rowland Rd., Williamsburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00086. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bail set at $2,500 cash/sec prop, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Carlos Foster, Grassy Springs Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00087. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Joseph A. Elders, S. 2nd St., Louisville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00088. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1, 2 and 3 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 1st degree. Count 4 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 5 - Possession of a forgery device. Bail set at $1,500 cash, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Kristie M. Weston, a/k/a Kristie Passmore, Bluebird Dr., Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00089. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1, 2 and 3 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 1st degree. Count 4 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 5 - Possession of a forgery device. Arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Adrian E. Stotts, Maxie Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00090. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, 10+ D.U. schedule II narcotic. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 3 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 4 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 5 - Possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 7 - Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs of or above .08, 1st offense, aggravating circumstance. Count 8 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Bail set at $10,000 cash, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Darius Dornes, Sharon Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00091. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 5 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 6 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 7 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 8 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 9 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 10 - Assault, 4th degree. Bail set at $20,000 cash, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Joshua A. Burton, Harris Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00092. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 5 - Reckless driving. Count 6 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Count 7 - Improper registration plate. Count 8 - No registration receipt. Bail set at $1,500 cash/sec prop, arraignment March 27, 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Parita S. Thompson, Harris Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00093. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia.
