Important Reminder: School Safety Forum is tonight, 8 Mar 2018 All Attendees must register. Doors open for registration at 5:30pmCT. By Becky Bailey The Adair County Board of Education will hold a community-wide forum to discuss school safety on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 6pmCT in the John Burr Memorial Gymnasium, Adair County High School, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. Attendees will include the Adair County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police, Columbia City Police, County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin, Judge Michael Loy, Judge Judy Vance Murphy, members of first responder groups, mental health counselors, along with school personnel. The meeting will provide an opportunity for all to communicate with one another to discuss school safety. Each person attending will be asked to register as they enter the gymnasium. Doors for registration will open at 5:30pmCT. There will be an opportunity for questions and suggestions during and following the forum. Everyone is invited to attend. If the majority of the Adair County Board Members are present, the meeting will be called to order and then at the end of the meeting it will be adjourned.
